Hinten in Gold ein aus dem unteren Schildrand hervorkommender, doppelhelmiger roter Kirchturm mit spitzbogigem betagleuchteten Fenstern und Schallöffnungen sowie einem schwarzen Kreuz auf jeder Helmspitze.

Historia obiektu
Deutsch: In dem Wappen soll mit der wellenförmigen Spaltung auf die Lage der Gemeinde am Dobbertiner See hingedeutet werden. Während die Eule als das allgemein verwendete Symbol für den Naturschutz auf den Naturpark Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide verweist, steht die Pflugschar für die Landwirtschaft als der in Geschichte und Gegenwart wichtigste Erwerbszweig der Einwohner. Mit dem stilisierten Kirchturm soll das für die Geschichte des Ortes und seiner Umgebung bedeutsame Kloster versinnbildlicht werden.
English: The line of partition is symbolising the location at the Dobbertin Lake. The owl is symbolising nature protection in the Nosentin and Schwinz Heather. The plough share is symbolising agriculture. The church is alluding to the local nunnery, which was established in 1234.
