Etymologia[edytuj | edytuj kod]
- Lycodryas: gr. λυκος lukos „wilk” [5]; δρυς drus, δρυος druos „drzewo, zwłaszcza dąb” [6].
- Stenophis: gr. στηνος stēnos „wąski, chudy”[7]; οφις ophis, οφεως opheōs „wąż”[8]. Gatunek typowy: Stenophis guentheri Boulenger, 1896.
