The Greatest Hits – pierwsza kompilacja zespołu Texas z największymi hitami wydany w roku 2000. Dotarł do 1 miejsca oficjalnej listy UK Albums Chart w Wielkiej Brytanii pozostając na niej przez 63 tygodnie[4]. 20 kwietnia 2001 uzyskał status sześciokrotnej platyny przyznany przez British Phonographic Industry za sprzedaż ponad 1,9 mln egzemplarzy[5]. The Greatest Hits okazał się bestsellerem w Wielkiej Brytanii i był 42 najlepiej sprzedającym się albumem w latach 2000. Wersja kanadyjska nosi tytuł Song Book. W brytyjskiej edycji albumu pojawiają się dwa dodatkowe utwory "Insane" i "Tired of Being Alone", które nie pojawiają się na wydaniu międzynarodowym. Wydana została także wersja japońska o niezmienionej liście utworów.
